Day 3 is in La Rochelle, just down the road actually in Chatelaillon-Plage. Lovely village with mussel and oysters being the focus here.
The campsite, Port Punay has a lovely English speaking Dutch lady on reception and she kindly obliged us with pitches facing each other for our stay.
We went for a jaunt into La Rochelle, please note that the one-way system is a bit of a corker in La Rochelle! Having missed a turning, we spent about 20 minutes trying to get back to the meeting spot 🙂
